Sam Hall is a Kent based composer, lyricist, musical director, orchestrator and multi-instrumentalist.

Sam studied contemporary classical composition at the Royal College of Music with Mark-Anthony Turnage and has had his music and arrangements played by first class orchestras including the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Since graduating, he has mainly been found working in musical theatre. A brief stint working in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s music department and time on various west end and international shows (including School of Rock, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Waitress and Spongebob Squarepants) has given Sam an undying love of the musical theatre art-form.

Recently, Sam’s musical On The Edge was included in the MMD Claude-Michel Schönberg Masterclass after previously being workshopped at The Union Theatre in 2021, directed by Patrick O'Neill.

His music straddles many different genres and he is always looking to create exciting and innovative new work.
