About Me

Sam Hall is a Kent based composer, lyricist, musical director, orchestrator and multi-instrumentalist. Sam is currently the Assistant Musical Director for Standing At The Sky's Edge in the West End.

 

Sam studied contemporary classical composition at the Royal College of Music with Mark-Anthony Turnage and has had his music and orchestrations played by first class orchestras including the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, The Southbank Sinfonia (BBC Proms) and the London Philharmonic Orchestra (Royal Festival Hall).

 

Sam has written music for theatre plays and musicals, short films, concert halls and all kinds of bands as a songwriter (including hip-hop, indie-rock, contemporary jazz and folk).

 

His music straddles many different genres and he is always looking to create exciting and innovative new work that push the boundaries of what people expect.
